A three-day traverse of the Presidential Range in the White Mountains, NH via the Appalachian Trail. We'll summit ten 4000' peaks, spending night #1 at the Lakes of the Clouds hut, witnessing early morning conditions atop Mt. Washington and spending night #2 at Madison Spring Hut. Must be an experienced backpacker in excellent physical condition. Option to stay at a nearby campground on the days before and after trip. Friday evening arrival recommended. $200 fee required for reservations at huts and campground; includes dinner, breakfast and bunks at both huts.
