Join us for a 2-day backpack in the tri-state area of the South Taconic Trail (eastern NY, Southwestern MA, Northwestern CT). This slightly challenging route provides the experience of hiking the relatively rough trail conditions of the Northeast while carrying a backpack. Much of the terrain is ridge-walking, but there will also be a few moderate climbs and descents. Along the way, enjoy a mix of forest and open ridges with many nice views, and possible visits to Bash-Bish Falls and CT's highest point, Mt Frissel. Camp overnight in a comfortable setting.
