Here's a trip for the adventurous (and thrifty) Nordic backcountry ski tourer. Depending on snow conditions, we'll pick between NY's Northern Adirondacks or the ever-reliable Tug Hill. Stay in an inexpensive local motel or hostel. Logistics to be worked out depending on the location. Intermediate-level or higher backcountry skiing experience required. Sorry, no beginners/novices.
