Leave winter behind for a 90-mile supported hiking trek across the Anti-Atlas range in sunny Morocco. After touring Marrakech and strolling its outdoor market, we head south over the High Atlas to our trek from the Draa Valley to the Dades. For 8 days of temperate days and cool nights a crew sets up tents, prepares our meals, and tends the mules carrying all gear except our day packs. Afterward, we head to the ancient medina of Essaouira, a World Heritage Site on the Atlantic seaside where we savor the relaxed atmosphere, walk on the beach and ramparts, and explore the harbor and artisan shops of the souk.
