Picture yourself skiing around geysers, hot springs, and bubbling mudpots. There are easy and moderate trails; there are big challenging mountain bowls. There are 2 options each day. Dry, gleaming Western "powdah" prevails. Summertime crowds? None. This is backcountry skiing in Yellowstone-Mammoth Hot Springs, Old Faithful, The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Unsurpassed wildlife viewing -- bison, eagle, elk, swans. And: wolf. All ability levels; singles, couples, families; all ages. Instruction is available. Remote backcountry tours are guided. Cost: $2950, all inclusive, incl. airfare from Boston, does not include lunch or beverage. NOTE: price based on est. increases of airline and facilities -- will be reduced if possible.
