1001: The Galapagos Archipelago By Land and By Sea
Activity: Hiking
Status: OPEN

Enjoy 10 days in the unique Galapagos Archipelago on this land- and sea-based custom trip accompanied by experienced multi-lingual guides and naturalists. The natural history, singular environment, remarkable spring plants and creatures of this Natural Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve are renowned. A combination of 5 days on a 20-passenger yacht cruising through the Galápagos Archipelago and 5 days in land-based hotels is one of the best ways to see this incredible region and allows you to experience what the Galápagos has to offer. While cruising we plan to visit at least two sites per day (2-3 hours each) where you will explore on foot and by snorkel. On land daily activities will include moderate hiking, swimming and snorkeling in warm equatorial waters. $6,200-6,600 per person dbl occupancy for accommodations (first-class yacht and 3-4 star hotels), most meals, guides and naturalists, and local transportation plus estimated airfare of $1,100-1,400 per person.
