When you sing "Purple mountains' majesty" you will remember this trip. We'll enjoy the friendship, spectacular views of wildflowers, diverse wildlife habitat, mountains, lakes and glaciers. Join 2 days of moderate to strenuous day hiking with a Yellowstone National Park licensed guide/naturalist, visiting geysers and exploring the park. We will next venture on a 5-day remote backpack at moderate pace with gourmet backcountry dinner and dessert provided by leaders along the Teton Crest in the heart of Grand Teton National Park. We will hike almost 40 miles and take in fields of wildflowers and pristine mountain lakes. Good physical condition and backpacking experience required. Trip size limited to 8. Approximate cost $1,400 plus airfare. Includes 3 nights' lodging in Jackson Hole, campground and backcountry fees, park permits, 2 full days hiking with professional naturalist in Yellowstone, ground transportation, and dinners.
