The Canadian Rockies in Banff National Park offer spectacular scenery and excellent, challenging intermediate or better backcountry skiing, including skinning up before enjoying your Tele turns. Prepare in the Lake Louise front country for 2 days, then ski 6 miles into the historic Skoki Lodge (http://www.skoki.com/), staying 5 days/4 nights. Ski out to Lake Louise on the last day. Built in the thirties, Skoki Lodge offers first-tracks skiing adventures. Stepping into the beautifully restored log structure, you become part of its history. The meals and afternoon tea are world famous - bountiful, home cooked and gourmet. While at the lodge, we will organize a variety of day ski tour excursions, depending on ski conditions and participant abilities and preferences.
