Five days of backcountry day ski-tours of 15-25 km per day above treeline on rolling mountain plateau from 3000'-5000' in the Hardangervidda Park in Norway from the Finse DNT "hut". Finse is full-service with hot showers, 3-course dinners, breakfast buffet, running water, & electricity in a pristine environment. Pre- and post-ski tour we stay in an Oslo tourist hotel with nearby nordmarka forest skiing, restaurants, museums and Frogner Park, famous for its statuary. Good physical condition and recent backcountry ski experience carrying a 15-20# day-pack required. Trip size limited to 14 including leaders. Approximate trip fee of $2120 includes all lodging, meals while skiing and local train travel. Leaders will coordinate air and Oslo dining; current total trip estimate is $3120 exclusive of alcohol. Trip fee includes; lodging, ground transport, food on ski tour. Meals in Oslo at own expense, but cost included in total estimate above.
