This 2-day indoor/outdoor course is for hikers, skiers, and all snow travelers who are unfamiliar with the avalanche hazards lurking in their winter playground. Learn the basic information needed to travel safely in avalanche country (such as Mt Washington), including how to recognize hazardous terrain, weather, and snow conditions. Cost $60, plus $15 transceiver rental.
