Discover Delaware: White Clay Creek State Park
Activity: Hiking
Subcategory: Conservation
Status: OPEN

Seven (7) miles of leaf-peeping and not as flat as you think. We'll pass the monument marking the beginning of the Mason-Dixon line, which forms Delaware's northern boundary. (I really don't know where Mary Ann finds all these tidbits!) Newark is about 2 hours up I-95 from D.C. depending where you live, so we'll plan on meeting at the park. Post hike dinner for those that can stay at Klondike Kate's Saloon (honest--it is up north, you know). Carpools when we know who is coming.
