Be a part of Canal Days. Invasive Species Removal with The National Park Service, Nature Conservancy and C & O Canal Trust near Olmsted Island. Join us to remove unsightly vegetation along the walkway. After lunch, an hour ride on a canal boat followed by a 5 mile leisurely walk on the Gold Mine Loop Trail. Dinner after for those that wish at the Angler's Inn, a short drive down MacArthur Blvd. Details to those registered via e-mail 10 days before the event. This is a Stewardship Society Qualification event.
