Hike up the Cascade Link to the Pumpelly trail and on to the summit for 1½ miles of spectacular above-treeline travel. Route down TBD. Moderately strenuous hike of 6-8 miles. Be prepared for cold and windy conditions above treeline. Previous winter hiking experience with snowshoes and crampons required.
