A timeless classic. 22 miles all down hill (net) on log rail beds in the Pemi Wilderness. We climb all of 900 feet over the 1st 8 miles. A little more brings us to lunch and views at Shoal Pond. 5 stream crossings and 8 miles later we come to the suspension bridge over the Pemi. From there its only 5.4 miles of flat skating to bring you to 1200 feet below our high point. You might need your headlamp. You'll definitely need lots of food, water and good attitude.
