We'll tour the laboratory and discuss ongoing environmental research, and then hike about 5 miles on nature trails, through woods and marshes (on boardwalks) on Chesapeake Bay, including newly acquired land with great views of the bay and ruins of an 18th century plantation. If you have binoculars, bring them for waterfowl-watching. Optional visit to seafood restaurant afterward.
