A 3 mile winter stomp or slide from Paradise, NY (near Lake George), to camp at Tubmill Marsh. Then, 3-4 miles each day of snowshoeing/backcountry skiing to ponds, maybe a mine and a neat snowshoe bushwhack up Treadway Mtn. Backcountry Skis and capable sleds OK to camp. Trained winter backpackers in good shape with own winter gear required. Fri. arrival OK if you want to stretch the weekend. $5 non-refundable registration fee.
