2/28/2009 LONG TRAIL SNOWSHOE (A3A)This Vermont venture will begin with a steep and arduous three mile ascent up the side of Mt. Horrid. We will not climb the face of the cliffs, but we will be close. Those who make it to the summit will then trudge seven miles along the Long Trail to and through an area known as the "snow bowl". Any words written here would be inadequate to describe what people undertaking this trip will encounter.
