Approx 20 mi., some strenuous but mostly slight elevation gains. Moderately paced backpack to the backwoods ponds and falls of the Pemi including, Norcross, Nancy, Ethan and Shoal ponds. Experienced backpackers who are ready for an overnight in the most remote sections of the Pemigawasset Wilderness. Must be ready for lots of mud and bugs, too, but will experience the most beautiful sections of the Whites that most visitors do not see.
